Black and White and Mod(cloth) All Over

I briefly mentioned my trip to the ModCloth IRL store on Facebook and Instagram, but I feel like I didn’t really do it justice. Y’all it was AMAZING. I would say that 90% of the clothes in the store came in size XS-4X. That’s right; there was stuff for everyone to try on!! It was spectacular and transformative. I have never felt so happy to be shopping with my friends. Seriously, I had an awesome time.

I ended up purchasing 3 pieces; a floral romper (yeah, I have a romper), a flower patterned tie-front sleeveless shirt, and a white tulle skirt. I know, I’m getting crazy with all the white. But I really feel like it’s the perfect neutral for spring/summer. Even though I usually go for black or gray, I really wanted to try and lighten it up a bit this year. But I can’t abandon my favorite color for long. So I put together a fun look with my new skirt!

I didn’t wear any super fancy jewelry, but my sister pointed out that was wearing ALL of my wedding rings!

I rarely wear my engagement ring since it doesn’t match/fit with my wedding band, but I’ve found that it makes an awesome right hand ring. So it’s back in rotation!

I was super comfy in this outfit, and got lots of compliments on it. I think next time, I’ll try it with a more fitted shirt. What do you think about tulle in the daytime?
