Plus Size Outfit – Birthday Weekend Looks

Soooooo my birthday was this past weekend, and I partied HARD, y’all. And by partied hard, I mean went to bingo with my grandma. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t have some sweet birthday weekend looks! I managed to look cute for two of the three days of my birthday weekend, and I’m so excited to share some new pieces

First of  the Birthday Weekend Looks – Friday Outfit

Sweater vest – Ava & Viv, Target (last season, similar) | Tunic – Hunter Green Dual-Pocket Three Quarter Sleeve Tunic, Zulily | Leggings – Ava & Viv, Target | Shoes – Aldo, Nordstrom Rack (similar)

Birthday activities for Friday: Lunch with my sweet friend Megan, and bingo with my grandma, her BFF, my mom, and my sister, Michelle.

If you can’t tell from the picture, fall outfits are MY JAM. I’ve been waiting to get out my favorite vesty sweater (sweatery vest??), and I’m super into this tunic because it’s light and soft, and it’s a color! I like it so much, I think I’m going to try and get a few more colors. They only have the blue left in the same style, but they have some other similar styles, and they are all under like $20! Also, can we talk about the shoes?? I proclaimed my love for my Velcro sneakers in a previous post, and I loved them so much, I went back to Nordstrom Rack to see if they had any other colors……. and they did! I found black and white, so I snatched up the black ones, which were even more on sale at $35. This outfit made me so freaking happy, y’all.

Lip color – Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Venom, Sephora | Earrings – Nordstrom Rack (similar)

I don’t generally wear statement earrings, since I prefer small studs. But I love these!! They are totally studs, but they are actually big enough to be noticed. My BFF actually found them, and she said I needed them. She knows me so well!

Saturday I didn’t get to do much. I had lunch and hang out time with my sister and my dearest friend, but I ended up having to skip a Halloween party because I got super sick that night. Luckily, I rallied for Sunday!

Second of the Birthday Weekend Looks – Sunday Outfit

Sweater – Short Sleeve Cowl Neck Tunic Sweater, Lane Bryant | Pants – Sateen Indigo Jeggings in Rinse Wash, Lane Bryant | Shoes – Aldo, Nordstrom Rack (similar) | Owl brooch – gift from friend

Birthday activities: Brunch and shopping with my friend Becky, and family birthday dinner with mi familia!

I’m so excited about both of the pieces I’m wearing here! I bought them on a whim; I was invited to a Friends & Family event at Lane Bryant, and I didn’t go with any particular pieces in mind. Usually, I don’t bother trying on pants or jeans because I never find a good fit. Well these jeggings are EXACTLY what I’ve been wanting! I love that I can cuff the bottom to look cute with my shoes, and they aren’t so tight that they look like leggings. Also they are so comfortable, I feel like I’m wearing pajamas. The sweater I tried on in store, but I wanted to size up. So I ordered it, and sort of worried that I wouldn’t like it when it was bigger. But it was perfect! Normally I am not into cowl necks, but I am totally into this one. I think it’s because of the short sleeves. I feel like long sleeves and a cowl neck feels way too covered up. Also, it was another opportunity to wear my Velcro shoes. I may never tie shoes again…….

Lipstick – Lip Ammo in Thick As Thieves, Jeffree Star (limited edition summer collection) | Awesome 3rd Day Hair – Thickening Dryspun Finish, Ulta

Do you see the difference filling in your eyebrows makes? I can tell the HUGE difference in my Friday makeup pic and my Sunday makeup pic. I just look more put together. Also, I’m pretty sure Thick As Thieves is my favorite nude EVER. It’s just the perfect shade for me, and Jeffree Star has the best lipstick formula, HANDS DOWN. My girl Becky is an amazing stylist and makeup artist,so y’all know I had to bring my A-game hair and makeup-wise. I didn’t want to embarrass her! I was super happy with this look and will definitely be repeating it!

Whew, this was a long post! If you made it to the bottom, CONGRATULATIONS!! Also, thanks to everyone that made my birthday special. I can’t wait to see what 36 has in store for me!!!
